WASHINGTON, Dec. 12, 2025 – Suzanna’s Kitchen, a Suwanee, Ga., establishment, is recalling approximately 62,550 pounds of fully cooked, bone-in breaded chicken products due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. The product contains soy, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label. The 8-piece cut, bone-in breaded chicken portions were produced Nov. 4, 2025. The following product is subject to recall [ view labels ]: 18-lb. cases containing four units of “FULLY COOKED BREADED CHICKEN PORTIONS,” with case code “P-1380 126237 B30851 23:11 K04” printed on the side of the packaging. The product subject to recall bears the USDA mark of inspection on the case’s label and establishment number “P-1380” printed on the side of the package. These items were shipped to restaurant locations nationwide. The problem was discovered when the company notified FSIS that they had identified chicken product containing soy that had been mislabeled with a non-allergen containing product code. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider. FSIS is concerned that some product may be in restaurant refrigerators or freezers. Restaurants are urged not to serve this product; these items should be thrown away. FSIS routinely conducts recall effectiveness checks to verify recalling firms notify their customers of the recall and that steps are taken to make certain that the product is no longer available to consumers. The bean, cheese, and jalapeno tamales were mislabeled as mild pork tamales. The product contains cheese (milk), a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label. The fully cooked tamales were produced Oct. 7, 2025. The following product is subject to recall [ view labels ]: 10.9-lb. plastic-lined boxes containing 50 frozen tamales and labeled as “La Guadalupana MILD PORK TAMALES Wrapped in Corn Husks,” with pack date “10/07/25” and best buy date “10/08/26” represented on the label. The product subject to recall bears establishment number “EST. 21094” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to restaurant and retail locations in Illinois, Iowa, Ohio, and Wisconsin. The problem was discovered when a restaurant notified the establishment that they had identified bean, cheese, and jalapeno tamales that had been mislabeled as pork tamales. The products may contain soy lecithin, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label. A recall was not requested because the products are no longer available for purchase. The ready-to-eat beef jerky items bear best by dates of February 17, 2027 or prior. The following products subject to the public health alert are [ view labels ]: 6-oz. plastic packages containing "DRIED HAWAIIAN STYLE BEEF CRISPS, ORIGINAL SALT & PEPPER FLAVOR", and bearing establishment number "EST. 2625" inside the USDA mark of inspection. 4-oz. plastic packages containing "PUNAHELE JERKY COMPANY INC UNCLE K'S BEEF CRISPS". 4-oz. plastic packages containing "PUNAHELE JERKY COMPANY INC KILAUEA FIRE SPICY BEEF CRISPS". These items were distributed to retail stores in Hawaii and sold via online sales nationwide. The problem was discovered during a routine FSIS label review. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about a reaction should contact a health care provider.
