Vehicle Recalls: NHTSA Car Recall Alerts by Make, Model and Campaign

Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Toyota Tundra, Tacoma Hybrid, Tacoma, RAV4 Hybrid, Land Cruiser Hybrid, Lexus GX550, 2024-2026 Tundra Hybrid, 2025 Sequoia Hybrid, Crown Signia, Grand Highlander, Lexus TX500 Hybrid, Lexus NX350 Hybrid, 2025-2026 Grand Highlander Hybrid, and Lexus TX350 vehicles. The load carrying capacity modification label may display inaccurate added weight values. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims." A vehicle with an incorrect maximum capacity weight value may be overloaded, which can increase the risk of a crash.

Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Lexus LX vehicles. The front passenger seat may have insufficient clearance between the seat frame and the stopper that can cause the Occupant Classification System (OCS) sensor to incorrectly detect the occupant. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection." Incorrect detection of an occupant may result in improper air bag deployment during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Bentley Motors, Inc. (Bentley) is recalling certain 2025 Bentayga vehicles. The tire information placard may indicate an incorrect tire size and tire pressure. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims." Incorrect tire information can allow an incorrectly sized tire to be installed or result in improperly inflated tires, increasing the risk of a crash.

Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2016-2018, 2020, 2022-2023 LFS and 2019-2020 LFS Artic transit buses. The driver's seat belt tension-reliving device may fail to disengage without manual intervention. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection." Failure of the tension-reliving device may prevent the seat belt from properly restraining the driver, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.

Storyteller Overland, LLC (Storyteller) is recalling certain 2024-2026 GXV Hilt recreational vehicles. The entry door position switch may not make adequate contact to read that the door is closed, which allows the steps to deploy unexpectedly. Steps extending while in transit increase the risk of a crash.

Hino Motors Sales U.S.A., Inc. (Hino) is recalling certain 2026 NV7G, NV7D, NJ7E, NJ7D, NH7K, NE7D, and NH7G vehicles. The owner's manual may include incorrect maintenance instructions about how to retighten U-bolts. Referencing incorrect information may lead to unintentionally overtightening the U-bolts. The bolts can break, shifting the axle and leaf springs and increasing the risk of a crash.

Daimler Coaches North America (Daimler Coaches) is recalling certain 2009-2020 Setra S417 and 2012-2019 Setra S407 vehicles. The switches for the hazard warning lights, defroster, heating and air conditioning system, and fan speed may fail to illuminate correctly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 101, "Control and Displays." The driver may be distracted by switches that are too bright or by searching for switches that are too dim or not illuminated, increasing the risk of a crash.

Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2017 Brave, 2019 Itasca Sunova, 2019-2022 Adventurer, and 2022 Sunstar motorhomes. The front turn signals may have a smaller than required luminous lens area. As such these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) Number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." A small lens can make it difficult for other drivers to see the turn signal, increasing the risk of a crash.

Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2026 Hyundai Palisade and 2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid vehicles equipped with "Limited" and "Calligraphy" trim packages. The internal wiring within the third-row driver-side seat belt buckle may become damaged and result in a permanent display of a belted third-row driver-side seat on the instrument panel. A faulty seat belt status indicator may fail to alert occupants to an unfastened seat belt, increasing the risk of injury.

Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2025 AC Series Crane and DT Series Digger Derrick vehicles. The harness intended to prevent Altec installed lighting from overloading the chassis lighting circuit was not installed, which may result in a loss of power to the body lighting or trailer lights. Loss of body lighting or trailer lights increases the risk of a crash.

Braun Corporation (Braun) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Ram ProMaster vehicles. The installed window may have the wrong type of glass for an emergency exit. As such, these vehicles fails to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 226, "Ejection Mitigation." A noncompliant emergency exit can increase the risk of ejection and injury during a crash.

Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2026 AMG GLC43 4MATIC, GLC 300 4MATIC, GLC 300, and GLC 300 4MATIC Coupe vehicles. The center rear seat belts may have been installed without the child seat protection function and fail to lock a child restraint properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection," and FMVSS number 209, "Seat Belt Assemblies." In the event of a crash, an insufficiently restrained child has an increased risk of injury.

Kia America, Inc. (Kia) is recalling certain 2027 Telluride Hybrid SX Prestige and X-Line SX Prestige vehicles equipped with the Executive Package. The second-row power seats may fail to detect a person. The seat may continue to move after contacting a person during powered seat functions, such as one-touch tilt-and-slide or automatic power fold-and-stow. A person, especially a child, may become trapped by a rear powered seat, increasing the risk of injury.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2022-2025 Lincoln Navigator, 2024-2025 Lincoln Nautilus, 2025 Lincoln Aviator and Explorer vehicles. The Image Processing Module A (IPMA) may experience multiple unexpected resets, resulting in loss of the rearview camera image and advanced driver assistance (ADAS) features, including pre-collision assist, lane-keeping assist, and blind-spot monitoring. Loss of the rearview camera image and certain driver assistance features, can reduce the driver’s ability to detect hazards, increasing the risk of a crash.

General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, Silverado 3500, GMC Sierra 2500, and Sierra 3500 Crew Cab vehicles. The left or right-side roof rail air bag (RRAB) inflator end cap may detach from the inflator or the inflator sidewall may rupture. A detached end cap or inflator rupture can allow compressed gas to escape and project the end cap or fragments of the inflator into the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury.

The axle hubs were incorrectly assembled with a grease seal rather than an oil seal, causing oil to leak. A loss of lubrication can cause bearing failure and wheel loss, increasing the risk of a crash.

Terex South Dakota, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2019-2026 General 65, General 80, General 95, C4000, C5000, and C6000 digger utility trucks equipped with pole guides. An insufficient weld on the plate weldment may crack, causing the retaining pin to separate. Without a retaining pin, the pole guide arm may fall, increasing the risk of injury to people around the truck.

International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2023-2027 IC Bus CESB and 2025-2027 IC Bus EVSB school buses. The body panel joint may have been attached without sufficient epoxy coverage. As such these vehicle fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 221, "School Bus Body Joint Strength." The body panels may separate during a crash, reducing structural integrity and increasing the risk of injury.

Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2026 Montana fifth wheel recreational trailers. The 12-volt and 120-volt wiring may be improperly secured. The wires may be pinched and damaged when the bedroom slide-out moves. Damaged wiring may cause an electrical fault, increasing the risk of a fire.

Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2022-2025 Lexus NX350, NX250, 2023-2026 RX350, and 2024-2026 TX350 vehicles. The rearview camera image may not display when the vehicle is placed in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility." A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2026 Land Rover Defender vehicles. The third-row lower seat belt anchorage bracket may have an insufficient weld stud. A seat belt assembly with an insufficient weld may not properly restrain an occupant during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Entourage motorhomes. The Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) label may incorrectly state 7 seat belted positions, when the motorhome has 8 positions, which can allow the motorhome to be overloaded. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, “Wheels and Rims-Other than Passenger Cars.” An overloaded vehicle increases the risk of a crash.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2025-2026 F-59 and F-53 commercial stripped chassis vehicles. The exterior brake lights may remain illuminated when the driver is not applying the brakes. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." Brake lights that remain illuminated can fail to alert other vehicles of the driver's intention, increasing the risk of a crash.

Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2025-2026 GT1, GH1, and 2026 GH2 motorhomes. The Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) label states an incorrect number of seat belt equipped seating positions, which can result in unbelted passengers. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, “Tire Selection and Rims.” Unbelted passengers may not be properly restrained in a crash, increasing their risk of injury.
