Vehicle Recalls: NHTSA Car Recall Alerts by Make, Model and Campaign

Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2026 GLA 250 vehicles. The bowden cable may have been incorrectly installed, which can prevent the door from opening from inside the vehicle. A door that cannot be opened may trap occupants inside the vehicle, which can increase the risk of injury.

Kia America, Inc (Kia) is recalling certain 2027 Kia Telluride and 2026 Kia K4 vehicles. The rear center seat belt anchor buckle in the 2026 K4 and the third-row center seat belt anchor buckle in the 2027 Telluride may not latch properly. A seat belt buckle that is not latched properly can fail to restrain an occupant in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America, Inc. (MFTA) is recalling certain 2024 Rizon FEC7K (E16), FEC9K (E18), and 2025 FECXK (E18) trucks. While idling, the electrical control unit may transmit an error that prevents the truck from being driven. A vehicle that is unable to move as needed, increasing the risk of a crash.

General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Express Cutaway, and 2025-2026 Savana Cutaway vehicles. These vehicles may be equipped with a tire with sidewall damage. A tire with sidewall damage may experience sudden air loss or driver loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Highlander and Highlander Hybrid vehicles. The second-row seat backs may fail to lock into position during seat back adjustment. A seat back that fails to lock may not properly restrain an occupant during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, and GMC Sierra 3500 vehicles with gasoline engines and dual fuel tanks (RPOs L8T and N2N). The rear fuel pump may not transfer adequate fuel to the front tank, causing an engine stall. An engine stall increases the risk of a crash.

Webasto Thermo & Comfort NA, INC (Webasto) is recalling certain CV Standard Gen1 Batteries part numbers 5613175, 5610618, and 5610610 that include Samsung SDI Co cell in a 2P configuration. The high voltage batteries may fail. Battery failure can cause a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash. Battery failure can also increase the risk of a fire.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2026 Impression fifth wheel recreational trailers. The insulation on the wires may have been improperly removed, exposing conductors. Exposed conductors may cause electrical arcing, increasing the risk of a fire.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2026 Dynamax Europa and Grand Sport GT motorhomes. The distribution panel may not be properly bonded to the chassis ground, allowing a conductor to energize the chassis. An energized chassis increases the risk of injury and electrocution.

Escape Trailer Industries LTD. (Escape Trailer) is recalling certain 2025 E17, E19, E21, E5.0 recreational trailers. The spare tire carrier may have incorrect welding, causing the carrier to detach from the trailer during transit. A detached carrier can become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.

Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Audi) is recalling certain 2019 Audi Q8, Audi A7, and Audi A6 vehicles previously repaired under recall number 25V900. Due to a software error, the lane departure warning system may be deactivated. The driver may be unaware that the lane departure warning system is deactivated and rely on a system that is not functional, increasing the risk of a crash.

Kumho Tire Co., Inc. (“KTCI”) Is recalling certain Solus TA11 tires, size 225/60R16. The tire tread may separate. As such, these tires fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 139, "New Pneumatic Radial Tires for Light Vehicles." Tread separation may increase the risk of a crash.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2020-2022 Explorer, Escape, Lincoln Aviator, and Lincoln Corsair vehicles. The windshield wiper motor may fail and prevent the windshield wipers from operating properly. Windshield wipers that fail to operate properly can reduce visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2026-2027 E-350 and E-450 vehicles. The backup alarm connector may become loose and detach, preventing the alarm from sounding when the vehicle is backing up. A backup alarm that fails to alert pedestrians and other vehicles of a reversing vehicle, increases the risk of crash or injury.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2026-2025 F-250 SD and F-350 SD vehicles. The driveshaft friction weld may fail, resulting in rear driveshaft separation and a sudden loss of drive power. A loss of drive power can increase the risk of a crash.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2026 Lincoln Navigator vehicles. The obstacle detection software for the driver seat may malfunction at low speeds, resulting in the seat reversing unexpectedly while driving. Unexpected movement of the driver’s seat may affect the driver’s ability to control the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Explorer vehicles. The Dynamic Bending Light (DBL) system software may cause the passenger-side headlight to turn in the wrong direction when driving through curves in the road. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, " Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." A headlight that turns incorrectly can result in increased glare to other road users, increasing the risk of a crash.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2025 Ranger, Lincoln Nautilus, Mustang, Maverick, Explorer, Escape, Lincoln Corsair, Bronco Sport, and Bronco vehicles. The exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve may fail, resulting in an unexpected loss of drive power. An unexpected loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2020-2022 Escape, Lincoln Corsair, 2020-2024 Lincoln Aviator, and Explorer vehicles. The image on the center display may flip or invert, resulting in an incorrectly displayed rearview image when the vehicle is placed in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility." An incorrectly displayed rearview image can reduce the driver’s view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2026 Ford Bronco and 2021-2024 Ford Edge vehicles. The Accessory Protocol Interface Module (APIM) may overheat and shutdown, which can prevent the rearview camera image from displaying as intended. A rearview camera that fails to display an image can reduce the driver’s view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2012–2013 Buick Regal Turbo and GS trim-level vehicles that were sold or ever registered, in Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, or Wisconsin. The rear suspension toe links may have received improper corrosion protection, which can result in rear toe link fracture. Rear toe link fracture can cause a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.

General Motors has decided that certain 2027 Chevrolet Bolt EV, 2025-2026 Cadillac OPTIQ, Chevrolet Colorado, Equinox EV, GMC Canyon, 2026 Buick Enclave, Envision, Cadillac CT5, Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade IQ, Escalade IQL, LYRIQ, VISTIQ, Chevrolet Blazer EV, Corvette Convertible, Corvette Coupe, Corvette Convertible E-Ray, Equinox, Silverado 1500, 2500, 3500, Silverado EV, Suburban 1500, Tahoe, Traverse, GMC Acadia, Hummer EV Pickup, Hummer EV SUV, Sierra 1500, 2500, 3500, Sierra EV, Terrain, Yukon, and Yukon XL vehicles. The radio may not have been set to the correct status to download the electronic owner's manual during production. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, “Occupant Protection.” Without an owner's manual to consult, owners may not know how to safely use and operate the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.

BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling one 2026 S 1000 RR motorcycle. The turn signal reset button can be unintentionally activated at the same time as the turn signal, resulting in an inoperative turn signal. As such, this vehicle fails to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, “Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." Turn signals that fail to activate as intended increase the risk of a crash.

International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2023-2027 IC Bus CESB school buses. The brake lines may have been installed with incorrect hardware, which can result in brake line damage and cause a leak. A brake fluid leak can extend the distance required to stop, increasing the risk of a crash.

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2024 Acura ZDX and Prologue vehicles. Due to a software error, the instrument panel display may fail. Additionally, a software error may cause the rearview camera to display a blank screen when the vehicle is in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 101, "Control and Displays," 111, "Rear Visibility," and 305, "Electric-Powered Vehicles." An instrument panel display that fails to show critical safety information, such as the speedometer or warning lights, increases the risk of a crash or injury. Additionally, the loss of the rearview camera image can reduce the driver's rear visibility, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
