Vehicle Recalls: NHTSA Car Recall Alerts by Make, Model and Campaign

Shyft Group (Shyft) is recalling certain 2025 Spartan RV Chassis K1, 2024-2026 RV Chassis K2, RV Chassis K3, and 2025-2027 RV Chassis K4 vehicles. The exterior brake lights may remain illuminated when the driver is not applying the brakes. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." Brake lights that remain on may fail to alert other vehicles of the driver's intention, increasing the risk of a crash.

Taizhou Qianxin Vehicle Co. Ltd is recalling certain 2024 Fly Wing Snake 250 EFI motorcycles. The brake pads may fail to stop the motorcycle as intended in wet road conditions. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 122, “Motorcycle Brake Systems.” The braking performance in wet road conditions may be reduced, resulting in extended braking distance, increasing the risk of a crash.

Dometic Corporation (Dometic) is recalling certain Fan-Tastic Vent Fans with part numbers 9610007185, 9610007184, 9610007183, 9610007182, 9610007181, and 9610007180. The vent fan assembly may be missing a hinge pin, allowing the lid to detach. A detached lid can become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.

Chryser (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2023-2026 Ram 2500 Pick up trucks. A software error in the powertrain control module may improperly allow the vehicle speed to exceed the tire speed rating, which can result in a loss of vehicle control. Loss of vehicle control increases the risk of a crash.

General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2026 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Suburban, and Tahoe, and GMC Sierra 1500, Yukon, and Yukon XL vehicles with four-wheel (4WD) or all-wheel drive (AWD), and certain 2015-2020 Suburban, Escalade, Escalade ESV, Yukon, Yukon XL, and Tahoe vehicles. A component missing from the drivetrain transfer case may cause the front and/or rear wheels to lock up without warning to the driver. Front or rear wheel lockup increases the risk of a crash.

Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2019-2023 Jeep Cherokee vehicles. The power transfer unit (PTU) may fail. A failed PTU may result in a loss of drive power or vehicle rollaway, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.

The drive belt pulley may contact and damage the the oil lines. A damaged oil like may leak, increasing the risk of a fire in the presence of an ignition source.

Tesla, Inc. (Tesla) is recalling certain 2017, 2021-2023 Model 3, 2020-2023 Model Y, 2021-2023 Model S, and Model X vehicles operating software version 2026.8.6. The rearview camera image may be delayed when the vehicle is placed in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility." A delayed rearview image reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Shyft Group (Shyft) is recalling certain 2025 Utilimaster Velocity vehicles. The incorrect vehicle load value may be listed on the vehicle cargo carrying capacity label. Incorrect weight information may lead to unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Solis recreational vehicles. The liquid propane (LP) hose may be incorrectly routed over the exhaust heat shield. Heat exposure may damage the hose. A damaged hose may leak fuel, increasing the risk of a fire.

Gulf States Toyota, Inc. (GST) is recalling certain 2026 4Runner vehicles. The load carrying capacity modification label states the incorrect load carrying capacity. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims." An incorrect load carrying capacity label may lead to improper loading of the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Waymo LLC (Waymo) is recalling certain 5th and 6th Generation Automated Driving Systems (ADS). The software may allow the vehicle to slow and then drive into standing water on higher speed roadways. Entering a flooded roadway can cause a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.

Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2026 CLA 350 4MATIC (EV) and CLA 250+ (EV) vehicles. The front passenger seat belt retractor may have been manufactured with a defect that prevents the deactivation of the child seat safety function (Automatic Locking Retractor). As a result, the seat belt may remain in a locked position and cannot be extended. A passenger who is unable to fasten their seat belt is not properly restrained, increasing their risk of injury in a crash.

New Flyer of America, Inc. (New Flyer) is recalling certain 2022 XE40 transit buses. The speedometer may not illuminate when the headlights are turned on. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 101, "Controls and Displays." An unlit speedometer cannot show the vehicle's speed, increasing the risk of a crash.

Braun Corporation (Braun) is recalling certain 2026 Ram ProMaster vehicles. The rear bench may have only two of four seat legs installed. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 207, "Seating Systems." An incomplete seat may not properly restrain an occupant, increasing risk of injury during a crash.

Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2024-2026 AMG GT, C-Class, E-Class, SL, CLE, and GLC vehicles. The infotainment control unit may reset while the vehicle is in motion and cause the instrument panel display to go blank. An instrument panel display that fails to show critical safety information, such as the speedometer and warning lights, increases the risk of a crash.

Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2022-2023 LFS transit buses. The telemetry control unit installed in parallel with the vehicle monitoring system may cause a data overload. An overloaded control unit may shutdown, causing a loss of drive power and increasing the risk of a crash.

Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Lineage recreational vehicles. The adhesive securing the solar panels to the roof may fail, allowing the solar panel to detach. A detached solar panel can become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.

Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Lineage recreational vehicles. The driver and passenger seat bases may have not been tightened properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 207, “Seating Systems.” A loose base may allow the seat to move during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Roadtrek Inc. (Roadtrek) is recalling certain 2024-2026 Westfalia Wave SL, 2022-2026 Zion Slumber, Play Slumber, 2026 Play Tuff SL, 2025-2026 Play+Slumber, and 2024 Pivot Slumber recreational vehicles. The pop-top latch may disengage during transit, causing the pop-top to lift. A pop-top that lifts during transit can distract the driver, or detach if the secondary safety straps fail, increasing the risk of a crash.

Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2026 Freedom Aire motorhomes. The front chin spoiler may detach during transit. A detached spoiler may become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, “Wheels and Rims - Other Than Passenger Cars.” Incorrect weight information can allow the vehicle to be overloaded, increasing the risk of a crash.

Dorman Products, Inc. (Dorman) is recalling certain Dorman Transmission Gearshift Cables, with part numbers 905-146, 905-644, 905-142, and Solutions Transmission Gearshift Cables with part numbers BK905-1146-1, and BK905-1142-1. The gearshift cable bushing may detach from the linkage, which can prevent the vehicle from shifting into gear properly, including "Park" position. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 102, “Transmission shift position sequence, starter interlock, and transmission braking effect," and FMVSS number 114, "Theft Protection." The inability to shift into "Park" can result in a vehicle rollaway, increasing the risk of a crash.

Storyteller Overland, LLC (Storyteller) is recalling certain 2023 Stealth, Classic, and Beast Mode vehicles equipped with AWD. Improperly routed coolant lines may overheat the engine, causing a loss of drive power. A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.
